Lot Details
This elegant British sports car is one of less than 600 built making it very rare. Sporting a 2.5 litre overhead valve, 6-cylinder engine with a pre selector gearbox, this Sports special is a dream to drive. Top speed of 85 MPH when new and 30 mpg makes this a very motorable classic. Coachwork and interior designed and built by Barker and Co, a very prestigious builder of the time. Featuring rear hinged doors and long fenders, the streamlined body is one of the Special Sports great features. The rear seat has a special feature which allows it to sit sideways and can be removed for extra luggage space. A very rare and motorable car, restored in the early 2000s.
