Brass horseshoe motoring mascot mounted on a radiator cap with twin projecting handles and rounded ends. The upright horseshoe features recessed nail detailing and sits on a shaped pedestal. Identified by the collection’s display label as a “Good Luck Mascot”, dated 1913–1919, with reference to Cook Howlison, Dunedin and Invercargill.
